Electronic Systems Facilitating Service Delivery Inaugurated at Medium Taxpayer Office of Ministry of Finance

May 12, 2018: Electronic system facilitating service delivery was inaugurated at Medium Taxpayer office of Ministry of Finance in order to provide taxpayer better services and prevent their waste of time.

Dr. Najibullah Wardak, Deputy Minister of Customs and Revenue at Ministry of Finance, Ms. Kamila Sidiqi, Deputy Minister of Commerce at Ministry of Commerce and Industries, private sector officials and number of directors from Ministry of Finance participated in the event.
"On the tax week ceremony, we promised taxpayers to improve the quality of service, therefore, along with private sector we worked to ease the process of documents” said Mr. Najibullah Wardak, Deputy Minister of Customs and Revenue-Ministry of Finance. “This process is continued and the private sector is also required to cooperate with the government in collecting treasury” he added.

"The aim of coordination between the Ministries of Finance and Commerce is to provide the necessary facilities and services to the private sector" said Ms. Kamila Sidiqi, Deputy Minister of Commerce at Ministry of Commerce and Industries while appreciating the inauguration of such systems at Ministry of Finance.


"Technical facilities helped us to reduce corruption and provide the necessary facilities, we welcome this move by Medium Taxpayer Office” said Mr. Khan Jan Alokozay, Deputy Head of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

It is worth mentioning that, with opening this system in Medium Taxpayer Office, the quality of services has been improved and document process streamlined and accelerated. These systems increase transparency and reduce corruption in the departments.
