H.E. Prof. Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi, Acting Minister of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure to H.E. the President, met Mr. Mohammad Naeem Haqmal, Head of the Supreme Audit Office to discuss the fiscal year 1397 Qat’eia (government annual financial report).

The Auditor General expressed his administration’s gratitude to the Minister of Finance for the timely submission of the Qat’eia report as it helps them do their audit on time and professionally. In the meantime, he has requested the Ministry of Finance to provide timely response for their auditors inquiries and letters.

The Acting Minister of Finance while welcoming the Auditor General stated that the Ministry of Finance will cooperate with the audit, and provide all the information requested on timely manner. In return, it is expected of the Supreme Audit Office ‘s auditors to conduct their audit professional and impartially.

Both sides agreed to continue on the cooperation and meet regularly to solve problem that may come across.
