Notice Regarding General Directorate of Customs

The GD of Customs of MoF informs all those commercial corporations that have not yet introduced their official representatives for the customs procedures of their commercial goods to introduce their representatives through the Chamber of Commerce & Investment to the General Directorate of Customs or Provincial Customs.
According to the order of the leadership of the IEA, all commercial corporations are obliged to process their merchandise at the customs through an official representative. Moreover, according to this order, one person can take burden of representativeness of maximum three corporations.
This order is right now applicable in all customs offices of the country and no one other than the official representative of the commercial corporation is allowed to carry out the customs procedures.
It is worth mentioning, the commercial corporations that have not yet introduced their official representatives should submit their applications to the Chamber of Commerce and Investment in center Kabul and provinces, and the Chamber of Commerce will have sent their applications through an official letter to the GD of Customs or Provincial Customs for further processing.
