Acting Minister of Finance calls on the United State Agency for International Development (USAID) to set up its development programs under Afghan Government priorities

H.E. Prof. Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi, Acting Minster of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure to H.E. the President, met with Ann Calvaresi-Barr, USAID Inspector General on Oct 19, 2019.

In the meeting, both sides discussed the USAID assistance to Afghanistan and its effectivenss, carry out the affairs jointly by Afghanistan and USAID and other relevant issues. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Roya Rahmani, Afghan Ambassador to the United States.

The Acting Minister of Finance called on the USAID Inspector General to set up its development programs under the Afghan Government priorities.

USAID Inspector General welcome what is suggested by the Acting Minister of Finance. The Acting Minister of Finance invited him to visit Afghanistan in near future.
