Examination Provided for Recruitment of 3200 Candidates in Afghan Oil & Gas SOC

The examination for the appointment of professional employees for the Afghan Oil and Gas SOC (State-owned Corporation) related to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) was conducted by the National Examinations Authority (NEA) during a ceremony in the hall of Tamim Ansari of Kabul University.
In these ceremonies, General Director of SOC, Alhaji Abdulhamid Akhundzada; General and Executive Director of Afghan Oil and Gas SOC, Engineer Mohammad Nasir Rahimi (AKA Engineer Hassan); Director of Human Resources of the MoF, Maulawi Ahmad Shah Shakir; Director of NEA, Sheikh Abdulbaqi Haqqani; Directore of Kabul University, Dr. Osama Aziz and some other officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (EIA) also attended.
Dr. Osama Aziz, Director of Kabul University, said: "It is great to be happy that this exam is being conducted to recruit educated and talented young people. There is no doubt that in IEA, people are appointed to jobs based on their ability through a transparent and legal process."
Sheikh Abdulbaqi Haqqani, the Director of NEA said: "In the modern era of development of many developed countries, there is a great role of talented, professional and committed people. All praises to Allah that there is a job opportunity for talented people, and today's exam has been launched in order to recruit educated and talented youths" With the intention to give them the opportunity to serve and push our country towards development. Mr. Haqqani assured the transparency of the examination and added that such a transparent process has never been done in the history of Afghanistan. He asked the youths to participate in their full confidence to be prepared to serve the country.
General and Executive Director of Afghan Oil and Gas SOC, Engineer Mohammad Nasir Rahimi, presented information about the history and activities of the said corporation and added that presently under the umbrella of the independence and sovereignty of IEA, opportunity is provided for professional cadres. Afghan Oil and Gas SOC is trying to use internal experts and committed people in order to do its work better, so that this State-owned Corporation with billions of capital and hundreds of thousands of personnel looking at the necessary skills and to serve the country and change the said corporation as an international corporation. Engineer Rahimi eventually thanked the NEA, Kabul University and the MoF for their cooperation in conducting the transparent examination.

It is merely worth mentioning that the Afghan Oil and Gas SOC conducted the examination for 133 various positions simultaneously in three provinces as Kabul, Balkh and Herat, which 3200 candidates participated indeed.
