16th Technical Steering Committee Meeting of Afghanistan and European Union State and Resilience Building Contracts (SRBC) Held

The 16th Technical Steering Committee Meeting of Afghanistan and European Union State and Resilience Building Contracts (SRBC) co-chaired by Mr. Mohammad Naser Sidiqee, Director General of Monitoring and Evaluation at Ministry of Finance and Mr. David Berton, Representative of EU Development Assistance to Afghanistan today Nov 07, 2019.

The meeting which was attended by officials and representatives of various government departments,  the two sides discussed the progress of state-building contract indicators and assessment of available  challenges  , finalization of labor law and policy,  progress in Mining Reforms, Establishment of a Transparent Legal Framework for Mines and Official Mining in Provinces, Prevent Illegal Mining and Support Mining in a legal way, reforms in mining sector, implementation of projects through the Citizen Charter ,  providing services to villages and rural  and other relevant subjects.

At the end, it was decided that the Afghan Government and European Union working to complete all the committed indicators by the end of this year.
