Acting Minister of Finance: Afghan Government Seeks to Turn the Country from an Imported Economy to exported one

H.E. Prof. Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi, Acting Minster of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure to H.E. the President, met with Mr. Hartwig Schafer, the World Bank Vice President for South Asia on Oct 19, 2019 to discuss the Afghan Government’s new strategy for anti-corruption, the meeting of Afghanistan donor in the civil sectors which is scheduled to take place in 2020 and other important subjects.

 The Acting Minister of Finance said that the Afghan Government intends to turn the country from an imported economy to exported one.
