Management and Professional Experiences:
6+ years of experience in a planning and budgeting position ideally within reputed NGOs and companies.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of planning and budgeting management within an international oil and gas company.
Effective and persuasive leadership. - Strong organizational, coordination, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Excellent English communicate skills both verbally and in writing. - Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent organization skills needed for managing workload and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to on won initiative.
- Ability to produce accurate work.
- Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office, Internet applications, economic evaluation modeling, SAP, database management, etc..
Job Purpose:
Supervising and coordinating the work program and budget (WP&B). Includes the activities of preparation, planning, implementation, tracking and adjustment as well as coordinating statistics and database management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and summarizing the annual WP&B generated by each department. Holding discussions with Managers on related questions pertinent to the WP&B, such as actual costs of previous year and plans for the future. Consolidating all WP&B into a comprehensive budget and submitting to the GM for review.
- Implementing and tracking control of approved WP&B, including every work-plan, capital, expenditure, etc. Adjusting relevant contents as conditions change.
- Preparing periodic WP&B performance reports, putting forward professional, reasonable and pertinent suggestions, and submitting to the GM for review.
- Performing primary review duties in the internal approval procedure of Department of authorization of expenditure (AFE), material/service request (MR/SR), payment request (PR) etc. Canceling unplanned projects, strengthening budget management and control.
- Ensuring all health and safety practices are followed. Maintaining a safe work environment. Identifying and informing the HSE department of any hazards in the workplace.
- Completing any other duties or tasks assigned by the General Manager.
