3 Key IEA-run Bodies Endorse Tri-party Contract for Installing Transit Vehicles’ GPS Locker

A tri-party agreement was signed between the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation and the Afghan Post IEA-owned Corporation to install GPS Locker in transit vehicles.
For this purpose, a meeting was convened at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), which was attended by the Deputy Minister for Administration Affairs of Finance, Maulawi Dost Muhammad Mukhlis; the General Director of AOP, Sheikh Ul-Hadith Noorul Haq Anwar; the Director of the National Statistics and Information Agency, Mullah Abdul Qahir Haji Idris; the General Director of IEA-owned Corporations, Maulawi Ahmed Jan Bilal; Hafiz Siddiqullah Abid, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration Affairs of Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation; Mufti Abdul Matin Saeed, General Director of Customs, officials of Afghan Post IEA-owned Corporation and media representatives.
With the implementation of the GPS Locker installation project in transit vehicles, confidence will be hike in the field of foreign transit, the safety of commercial property and more transparency and speed in related matters will be created. Additionally, work time will be controlled regularly, as officials determined.
Noticeably, the national program for the development of postal code and postal address was also inaugurated in this session.
