Afghanistan has had a shortage of professional accountants for years, and the lack of professional accountants in this field has caused many problems in the financial affairs of corporations.
In order to solve the aforementioned obstacle and to strengthen professional accounting, CPA (Certified Professional Accountants Afghanistan) of the General Directorate of Treasury of MoF, for the first time initiated the registration and licensing process to auditing agencies and professional education institutions with set standards.
By granting standard licenses to auditing agencies, Mof assures that administrative affairs will be professional and evasion of national revenues will be prevented, and the revenues of IEA-owned and private corporations will increase. It not only assures full transparency in financial and taxation processes, but also to empower corporations in system building.
