Minister of Finance Meets with Resident Representative of UNDP for Afghanistan, Pledge to foster Cooperation!

Minister of Finance Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Naser Akhund has met with the resident representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Afghanistan, Stephen Rodrigues.
At the beginning, the Directore of UNDP praised the economic developments in Afghanistan and added that currently the financial and banking sector in Afghanistan is stable, businessmen and investors have been provided with the necessary opportunities.
“Small businesses have flourished with tax exemptions and provision discounts, and vital development projects are being implemented at nationwide, which clearly indicates that national revenues have been spent on appropriate places”, appreciated Mr. Stephen.
The resident representative of UNDP promised to boost coordination with the MoF in order to increase its activities. Additionally, to provide and implement fecund economic projects in Afghanistan together.
Besides thanking UNDP for its activities in Afghanistan, Hon. Mullah Naser Akhund requested UNDP to take advantage of the opportunities provided in Afghanistan to launch major development projects.
Notably, Hon. Minister also assured fully cooperation with the UNDP in the implementation of development projects in Afghanistan.
