About Ministry of Finance:

Directorate of ICT is providing reliable and secure platform for overall data and voice connectivity and access to MoF core application services in MoF HQs and sites.
Job Description:
The Senior HVAC & Power Engineer will oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, as well as the power infrastructure within the Directorate of ICT at the Ministry of Finance. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal environmental conditions and uninterrupted power supply for all ICT operations, focusing particularly on power systems such as 60KVA UPS units and STULZ HVAC systems.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure a stable and optimal working environment.
Manage and maintain power infrastructure, including 60KVA UPS systems, to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all ICT equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC and power systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC and power systems promptly.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Coordinate with other departments and external contractors for large-scale installations and repairs.
Develop and implement energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs.
Document all maintenance activities and system performance metrics.
Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Prepare reports and presentations for management on system performance and recommendations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications in HVAC or power systems (e.g., LEED, CEM) are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in HVAC and power systems engineering.
Extensive experience in the design and implementation of HVAC systems, particularly STULZ systems.
Proficient in power distribution systems, including 60KVA UPS units, generators, UPS systems, and power conditioning equipment.
Demonstrated experience with building management systems (BMS) and energy management systems (EMS).
Proven track record of managing large-scale HVAC and power projects.
Experience in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and protocols.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient building practices.
Familiarity with the latest industry technologies and advancements.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
