Deputy Minister of Customs, Revenues Outlines Decisions For Preventing Violations of Oil Tariff, Customs Brokers!
The session has been held under the chairmanship of the ‘Deputy Minister of Customs and Revenues’ of MoF, Alhaj Mufti Abdul Matin Saeed, to assess the nature of preferential and free oil tariffs, and the prevention of any disobedience or violations by customs broker at customs.
In this meeting, necessary decisions were made on the importation of ‘base oil and condensate’ at preferential tariff and prevention of violations by the customs broker at the customs.
The attendees decided to assign a task to a joint delegation from the Directorate of Customs and Revenues, and the Directorate of Quality and Inspection of Petroleum Products to work on the deals with the issue of importing ‘base oil and condensate’ in preferential tariff.
It was also decided that after this, anyone who imports petroleum products into the country must obtain a petroleum license and carry out their business on the basis of license, indeed.
