First Preparatory Session for the "2020 International Conference on Afghanistan" Held
On March 12, the first preparatory session for the "2020 International Conference on Afghanistan" was held at MoF, with the presence of Mr. Tadamichi Yamamoto, UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Afghanistan and PekkaKosonen, Finland's Ambassador. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Prof. Mohammad HumayonQayoumi, Acting Minister of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure Affairs to H.E. the President.
In the meeting, preparations and the agenda of the conference were discussed.It was agreed that a joint technical working group with the United Nations and Finland Embassy should be established to take practical measures to fully prepare for the conference.
