The Directors of Customs met with the Prime Minister of IEA, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, in the presence of the Minister of Finance, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Naser Akhund, and the Director General of Customs, Alhaj Maulawi Mohammad Hamid Ahmad.

At the beginning, the Minister of Finance assured the PM of IEA of the proper conduct of daily affairs, and then, on behalf of the directors of customs, the Director General of Customs said representatively that customs revenues are increasing day by day and are being transferred to the treasury with complete transparency. 

“We have increased the working hours at the customs, which has led to an increase in trade and the processing of trade goods on time”, added Maulawi Ahmad.

PM, in addition to expressing gratitude and appreciation for the honest actions of the customs officials, made necessary recommendations to the customs officials in terms of good behaviors with people, particularly traders. 

It is worth noting that customs officials were invited to the capital Kabul for a consultative meeting to further improve customs affairs.
