Foreign Transit from Afghanistan has increased Tremendously Compared to previous years.

There has been a significant increase in foreign transit from Afghanistan due to the provision of facilities for traders at customs, the expansion of the working hours and duration of foreign transit by the Ministry of Finance, and the assurance of national security all over the country.

1. In the 1st seven months of Y-1399 (2489), cargo weighing (78334) tons passed through Afghanistan.
2. In the 1st seven months of Y-1400 (7317), cargo weighing (229,016) tons passed through Afghanistan, which indicates an increase of 194% compared to the Y-1399.
3. In the 1st seven months of the Y-1401 (26,980), cargo weighing (91 3644) tons have passed through Afghanistan, which indicates a 269% increase in cargo and a 299% increase in weight compared to the previous years.
It is worth mentioning that the goods mentioned above transited to different countries, most of which are Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
