Ministry of Energy & Water (MEW), Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, intends to develop 40 MW Solar Power Project Generation Facility at Hisar-e-Shahi Industrial Park of Nangarhar, Afghanistan using Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model and invited interested companies/consortia on 21st August 2019 via Notice for Prequalification A Pre-Application meeting was held at MEW on 18th September 2019. Upon request from the interested Applicants, the deadline for submission of Applications is hereby extended once again until 17th November 2019 02:00 PM to give sufficient time to complete the Application Forms and compile supporting documents for Application submission. Applications must be submitted in hard copy on or before 02:00 hours AFT, on 17th November 2019 to the following address. Applications submitted electronically will not be accepted. |

Notice for Prequalification
Development of 40 MW Solar Power Project Generation Facility
at Hisar-e-Shahi Industrial Park of Nanagrahar, Afghanistan
Ministry of Energy & Water (MEW), Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, intends to develop a 40 MW Solar Power project generation facility at Hisar-e-Shahi Industrial Park of Nanagrahar, Afghanistan by PPP using Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model and hereby invites interested companies/ consortia to submit Applications in response to the Prequalification Document, so that it may evaluate and shortlist those Applicants who shall be invited to respond to the RFP. As part of the RFP Stage,( MEW) will evaluate the Proposals submitted by the Shortlisted Bidders and appoint Preferred Bidders to undertake the Project.
Interested companies/consortia can register their interest by sending the completed Registration Form to faridullah.sharafmal87@gmail.com to become Registered Entities, allowed to submit Applications to participate in the bidding process. A Pre-Application meeting will be organized on 18th September 2019 at Conference Room, MEW, details of which would be duly notified to the Registered Entities.
Applications which must be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Prequalification Document which entails the submission of the following completed forms.
Form 1 – Prequalification Document Submission Identification Sheet
Form 2 – Letter of Prequalification Response
Form 3 – Particulars of Applicant
Form 4 – Particulars of Eligible Projects
Form 5 – Financial Capability
Form 6 – Letter of Authorisation for Lead Member of Consortium
Form 7 – Authorisation to a representative
Form 8 – Certificate of Compliance
Form 9 – Certificate by Affiliate of Applicant or Consortium Member of Willingness to Participate
Form 10 – Prequalification Response Checklist
Applications must be submitted in hard copy on or before 1400 hours AFT, on 16th October 2019 to the following address. Applications submitted electronically will not be accepted.
