Afghanistan and Asian Development Bank Review Development Projects of 2020

On March 05, 2020Mr. Abdul Habib Zadran, Deputy Minister of Finance and Mr. Narendra Singru, Asian Development Bank Director for Afghanistan, co-chaired a meeting to review development projects of the Asian Development Bank in Afghanistan for the year. Representatives of other relevant government departments also attended the meeting.

In the meeting, the parties discussed ADB projects in Afghanistan;how to better coordinate between the government and ADB toimplement these projects; future plans, operations, and other related issues.

It is worth mentioning that, the Asian Development Bank is one of the main donors of the Government of Afghanistan. The projects that the ADB has planned for FY-1399 are mainly in the areas of agriculture, natural resources and transport.
