Customs Affairs Progress by 18% in Q2 of Current FY1403, YoY Evaluation Remarks!

In the second quarter of current year 1403, the meeting of the technical assessment of accomplished affairs at the customs was held online and in-person under the chairmanship of the General Director of the customs of MoF, Alhaj Mufti Abdul Matin Saeed.
In this session, a comprehensive report of the activities carried out at the customs in the second quarter of 1403 was presented. During this period, complete information was provided about the collection of revenues, the trade conducted at the customs, the customs value of imported goods, and the number and registered weight of commercial cargoes, in which the affairs of customs were observed 18% positive on the basis of YoY, compared to the same period of the last year.
In regard to the presented report, all technical discussions were held and the obstacles and suggestions of the officials of the provincial customs were heard for the further development of the affairs as officials were assured for removing barriers.
Likewise, there was a comprehensive analysis of the trade of H1 of current year. According to the analysis, the import of commercial goods to the Afghanistan has increased by 32 percent in the basis of YoY, compared to the same period last year.
