*MoF Inks Over 366 mln Afs Contract for Building Park in Bagh-e- Bala as AOP Attends Meeting*

MoF and Habibullah Zazai Corporation signed a contract to build a park in Bagh-e- Bala area.

The meeting held in this regard was attended by the Deputy Minister of Finance for Administration affairs, Maulawi Dost Mohammad Mukhlis, the Deputy Director General for Policy of IEA of AOP, Maulawi Abdul Bari Atif, and the Director of Habibullah Zazai Corporation.

The contract for the construction of ‘Bagh-e- Bala Park’ in the fourth district of Kabul city related to the Ministry of Finance, which was previously approved by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, (No: 406, dated 2025/Jul/16 - 20/1/1447) was signed.

The park, which has an area of 160 Jeribs, has been approved for a period of 20 years with an investment of 366,892,890 Afs, of which two years will be the construction period and 18 years will be the profit-taking period.

MoF estimation shows that during the profit-taking period of the corporation, the IEA's share of the gross revenue has been determined to be 31% and the aforementioned corporation's share to be 69%. 

Notably, the construction of this park will not only enrich Kabul city, but also provide employment opportunities within the country, and increase the level of national revenue.
