Acting Minister of Finance and Egyptian Ambassador to Afghanistan Discusses Economic Issues

H.E. Prof. Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi, Acting Minister of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure to H.E. the President, met with Mr. Hani Saleh Mustafa Ahmad, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Kabul today August 31, 2019.

In the meeting, Acting Minister of Finance reminded of his trip’s achievements to Saudi Arabia and informed him of a high rank delegation visit to Afghanistan lead by Minister of Industry and Commerce to strengthen bilateral ties.

The Egyptian Ambassador to Kabul told the Acting Minister of Finance that his country has completed green house and housing projects successfully and in low cost by which Afghanistan can make use of Egypt experiences to implement such projects.

Likewise, the Egyptian Ambassador invited the Acting Minister of Finance to have a  visit to Egypt and look closely at greenhouse projects, housing projects and Tech Park (Technology Settlement) so that Afghanistan can benefit from Egypt’s Cooperation on how to implement these projects better in Afghanistan.
