Minister of Finance Meets Japan Ambassador to Afghanistan

Oct 16, 2022, Alhaj Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, the minister of finance, met Okada Takashi, Japan Ambassador to Afghanistan, at his office.
The Japanese Ambassador spoke with the Minister of Finance about the history of the bilateral relationship between Japan and Afghanistan, Japan's financial, development, and humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral ties. He also said that the Japanese people and government want a stable Afghanistan because they observe the Islamic Emirate's actions and have noted how the I.E.A. has eradicated corruption and brought peace to the entire nation.

While extending a warm welcome to the Japan Ambassador, the Minister of Finance, Alhaj Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, stated that the Islamic Emirate is dedicated to developing its ties with Japan. We now see it as a positive opportunity, and we want Japanese merchants and investors to come and make investments in our infrastructure and fundamental areas
