Minister of Finance and Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister Visits Qush Tepa Canal

Sep 30, 2022, The Minister of Finance Alhaj Mullah Hedyatullah Badri, accompanied by Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar traveled to Balkh Province to observe the Qush Tepa Canal’s most recent construction progress. While observing the development of Qush Tepa Canal, appreciated the officials for their effort and contribution to the project’s success and gave them necessary instruction for best of the work. 

It is worth mentioning that, by inauguration the project, thousands of direct and indirect jobs have been created to the people and with its completion about 550 thousands hectares lands will be irrigated and Afghanistan will become self-sufficient in term of wheat
