The Outcome of Geneva Conference Shared with Media

Dec 02, 2018:  Mr. Shah Hussain Murtazawi, Deputy Spokesperson of H.E. the President and Mr. Shamroz Khan Masjidi, Director of Public Relation and Spokesperson of Ministry of Finance have shared the outcome of Geneva Conference with media through a press conference at Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) dated Dec 02, 2018.

In the press conference, information provided to the media regarding issues discussed in Geneva on plans, achievements reports and Afghan Government reform measures in accordance with Afghanistan National Peace and Development Framework (ANPDF), National Priority Programs and Mutual Accountability Framework with International Community and its commends for the progress made by Afghan Government.

“The revenue collected this year is more than the target” said Mr. Shamroz Khan Masjidi, PR Director and Spokesperson of Ministry of Finance. “The target revenue was 172 billion Afghani this year which fortunately we managed to collect 173.95 billion till the end of fiscal year,” he added.

According to MoF spokesperson, the development budget expenditure reached to 75% at the government level that will substantially increase until the end of the fiscal year.
