China Investment on Mine and Energy Sectors was Heart of Minister of Finance Meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan

H.E. Dr. Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi, Acting Minister of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure to H.E. the President, met with Mr. Liu Jinsong, Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan.

In the meeting, the officials discussed further strengthening of economic and trade ties between the two countries and construction of solar energy park with a capacity of 100 megawatt in Bamyan province.

Additionally, they talked on China investment in wind power plants in the north and west of the country, transfer of merchandise via Afghanistan-China Air Corridor by Arian Afghan Airline and China cooperation in establishing a warning system to prevent natural disaster.

Likewise, China cooperation in utilizing Wakhan Corridor project, fixing of Afghanistan Customs Scanners were also parts of their discussion.
