The Ministry of Finance Launched Awareness Seminar on Tax Laws
On Sep 27, 2022, the Department of Revenue of the Ministry of Finance launched a one-day seminar on tax laws, regulations, guidelines, rules, systems and its achievements for students of various departments in Kabul University.
In this seminar, Abdul Wali Noori, the technical deputy of the General Department of Revenue, gave a presentation on the historical development of Afghanistan's taxes, the need to adjust tax laws, types of taxes according to tax laws, tax exemption, tax determination and delivery, tax payment methods, rights and obligations of taxpayers and other related areas.
The students while expressing their pleasure with the wide-ranging informational seminar on Afghanistan's tax system, thanked the Ministry of Finance for running such seminars to increase information and capacity of the people.
